STAR Finger Print unit is "Best of both worlds". While the unit is
secured with powder coated aluminium enclosure for a very long
durability, the keypad and finger print identification over come the
difficulty of "proxy punching".
Employee simply dials ID number through keypad or drops/swipes a
card and places his pre-assigned finger on fingerprint sensor for an instantaneous
comparison of live finger with the stored finger template. Upon
successful verification of live finger with the stored template, the
ID number with date and time is stored as a record with a beep and
visual indication.
Built-In Battery backup allows the unit to function for long
duration in absence of Mains Supply. The records remain intact for a
period of 5 years in absence of Mains Power or UPS .
Any number of units can be connected to a Hub/Switch/Router for an
enterprise wide connectivity over existing LAN or Internet.
Optional TCP/IP connectivity allows to add/delete/move Finger
templates and performs template management over Enterprise through
Intranet or Internet.
Also available with Proximity / Smart Card / Magnetic/ Bar Code / Optical reader.
